As you might know the Xanthosoma Lindenii is a plant of many names. It’s also known as Phyllotaenium Lindenii or Caladium Lindenii, but it’s all one and the same plant we’re talking about. This plant originates from Colombia and is a member of the big Araceae family. The Xanthosoma Lindenii grows from a rhizome and, just like Caladium, can go dormant in winter. However if you keep the bulbs in good condition you shouldn’t have a problem growing in back the next year.
To keep your Xanthosoma Lindenii in prefect condition keep the plant in a partly shaded spot. Preferably where it’s warm and humid. Watering the plant once a week should be sufficient, when the Xanthosoma Lindenii is in a well drained soil mix.
