Philodendron Pink Princess is a hybrid type of Philodendron. In most cases Philodendron Pink Princess are grown from tissue culture. The pink variegation which makes this plant so special and highly sought after is in the plants DNA. The way the variegation on the leaves will show can be different with all new leaves. One leaf might not have much pink variegation and the next could be totally different. Generally the plant will develop more pink in the leaves when the plant matures. Just like other variegated plants you could stimulate the variegation a little bit. The the plant is getting too pink or there is very little pink, you can cut down the plant. New growth will emerge with a nice pattern again in most cases.
Philodendron Pink Princess is a mesmerizing plant! It grows dark green to almost black leaves with pink variegation. This pink variegation can be sectoral or speckled. The variegated pattern can change in every leaf, so it’s always exciting to see what comes next!
