We are in love with the Hoya species! The Hoya sp aff Burtoniae is a beautiful litlle plant. It has pubescent dark green leaves with even darker edges. Once the plant blooms it give you small dark pink flower. This Hoya sp aff Burtoniae is hard to come by and a really must for any Hoya-lover.

The Hoya sp aff Burtoniae originates from the Philippines and was discovered in the late 1980’s. The name of this Hoya is a bit confusing. You might find it also when you look for Hoya Tsangii or Hoya DS-70. However it’s neither of these two. The real Hoya Tsangii is better known as Hoya Odetteae. As botanics found out more about the Hoya sp aff Burtoniae they discovered the plant is best compared with the Hoya Burtoniae. So actually it is a Hoya species affiliated with Hoya Burtoniae. Still understand this Hoya science?!
