How to care for your Chlorophytum Comosum ‘Variegatum’?

To let your Chlorophytum Comosum ‘Variegatum’ thrive, aroid the soil to dry out completely in between waterings. You plant will not be very forgiving. The plants does likes a bit of a damp soil. Water your plant about once a week.
The Chlorophytum Comosum ‘Variegatum’ likes an airy soil mix which is well draining. Try using perlite and pine bark with coco coir to keep light. If you don’t like the hassle of making your own soil you can try using our Premium aroid mix. Alternately you can go for a hydroponic mix like Pon or Grit.
Like most tropical plants Chlorophytum Comosum ‘Variegatum’ enjoys a humid environment. The humidity should be at least 60%. When the humidity is too low the leaves will get brown tips.

Chlorophytum can grow very rapidly when receiving the right care. It’s advisable to repot your plant once a year. The start of the growing season is marked as best period to repot. Always get a new pot which is one size bigger than the last one to ensure the roots have room to grow.
