Description

The Ceropegia is a very graceful plant with slender stems and leaves that resemble small needles. Not surprising that the nickname of this plant is ‘String of Needles’.

Ceropia Linearis is native to South Africa and belongs to the Apocynaceae family. The Apocynaceae is a big family of flowering plants varying from trees to succulent type plants. Just like Hoya for example. Ceropegia along has already 160 known species.

As the Ceropegia Linearis is a succulent type plant it doesn’t require a lot of water. During spring and summer once a week should be fine. In fall and winter once every other week. Place the plant in a spot where it gets enough light. When the Ceropegia Linearis starts to bloom small white to lilac lantern like flowers will appear. Normally the plants blooms in summer and/or fall.
