Taking care of your Myrtillocactus Geometrizans cv. Fukurokuryuzinboku is fairly easy. It loves sunlight, so place it in a sunny spot. In spring and summer you can water the plant about once a month. Water the plant only when the soil is completely dried out. If in doubt you can easily wait another week. When it is time to water, bottom watering is the best way to go with your Myrtillocactus Geometrizans cv. Fukurokuryuzinboku. Let is soak up water for a few minutes and transfer it back to its pot. During spring and summer you can add some special cacti nutrition to the water. Once the days get colder the plant will need much less water. Watering is only required once every 2 or 3 months. And again, only when the soil is completely dried out. Thereby the substrate is very important. Make sure you use a soil especially designed for cacti and succulents. These soils are usually very well-draining.

I have one of these Myrtillocactus Geometrizans cv. Fukurokuryuzinboku growing in my own home for about 1,5 years now. It’s loving it’s place in my south facing window. I’ve cared for it just liked described above and the plant has certainly grown much. Especially last summer. Myrtillocactus Geometrizans cv. Fukurokuryuzinboku is a really rewarding cacti and it certainly raises eyebrows and funny looks when visitors notice the plant.
